John's Global Music Map
This page on my site is really just for fun. The maps below show everywhere that my worship music has gone (CDs, radio, whatever) or where I have personally gone and led worship. It's just kind of cool.
At the same time, these maps are also a statement of how massively huge and amazing Jesus is. I'm amazed at what He can do through little people to make His name great. "Brothers, think of what you were when you were called. Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many were influential; not many were of noble birth. But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. He chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things—and the things that are not—to nullify the things that are, so that no one may boast before Him" (1 Corinthians 1:26-29, NIV). I'm astounded when I look at these maps. I am privileged to be His ambassador. "Surely you will summon nations you know not, and nations that do not know you will hasten to you, because of the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, for He has endowed you with splendor" (Isaiah 55:5). "Therefore I will praise You among the nations, Oh LORD; I will sing praises to Your name" (Psalm 18:49).
